SFIII: 3rd Strike – Game Spot Versus League Battle [10th Dan] Part 1

Game Spot Versus League Battle held 27th November 2009 at Game Spot Versus Arcade Battle for the title ‘強者’ – Strong . 10th Dan Matches. Players: Nuki(KE), Boss(GO), Yakkun(YU), Koshun(CH), Uni(NE), Kokujin(DU), KO(MA) Players: ヌキ(KE), ボス(GO), やっくん(YU), 紅春(CH), ウニ(NE), こくじん(DU), KO(MA) White text = “Battle for next dan rank” Red text = Winner ranked to next dan. Game Spot Versus has a new 3rd Strike league system! Pretty similar to Virtua Fighter Ranking System. Players enter the League with a character and by competing against players with the same or similar rank you either get one point or lose one. You start with the rank “shodan”, after 3 points you move up to the next rank (from 1st dan to 10th dan). If you lose 3 points, your rank moves down one level. With 10th dan you only fight people with your level and after 5 points you get a special title “強者” meaning ‘Strong’. Also, players can re-enter using different characters, for example Kuroda is ranked 10th Dan with Ryu and 8th Dan with Hugo.
